I’m Janel Fujinaka, a locally born and raised Hawaii Resident, residing right here in District 26. This is more than just my home. It’s where the wisdom of our kūpuna guides us, where the hopes of our keiki inspire us, and where the strength of neighbors showing up for one another defines who we are.

For over 15 years, I’ve stood shoulder to shoulder with our community, supporting military families, leading emergency outreach during crises, and helping local nonprofits reach those who need them most. These experiences have taught me a simple truth: lasting change happens when we listen deeply and act together with purpose.

I’m running to deliver real, compassionate solutions, ending homelessness with dignity, ensuring our schools are safe and thriving, revitalizing our parks and infrastructure, and building a government that is transparent, accountable, and truly serves its people.

This campaign isn’t just my journey, it’s our movement. Together, let’s raise our voices, demand better, and build the future that District 26 and all of Hawai‘i deserve.
